January 2007!

In case you haven’t heard
DENVER HAS BEEN ENGULFED IN SNOW !

The first storm came just before Christmas and left us stuck in our houses for four days. Eliseo and I were thrilled to be “stuck” with Stephen for so long! Now our second storm is here and, once again, we are keeping warm and safe inside our cozy yellow house on Osceola street.

Hope you are keeping warm and safe too this wintry season.

Nursery News:
The Nursery has been expanding in many ways.
Firstly, we are meeting in a new room which
is much larger than the room we previously met in.
This room is filled with toys! Because Scum does not
have many parents in our congregation the nursery is
a relatively new function. Most Sundays we have
from three to four children in there but lately we
have had from five to six! This is a great problem
to have. I have been busy recruiting and educating
new nursery volunteers, and I am glad to say we
have four NEW committed nursery volunteers.

Please pray for our babies and children as they
spend their Sunday evenings in our nursery.

Pray that they would feel Christ’s love.

Pray also for our nursery volunteers; that they
would recognize the valuable role they have.
